So many of you are familiar with A Moveable Feast, and have had the opportunity to sample our tasty offerings, but what you may not know is that we have now been running for officially two decades! This year marks an incredibly noteworthy milestone with our 20th year of operation. A Moveable Feast opened its doors in the Fall of 1999, and has been proudly serving the North Shore and its surrounding neighbourhoods since that date. Within the last 20 years, our team has grown from a one-woman show to a larger enterprise with a whole team of coordinators, cooks, delivery drivers and support staff who craft and serve delicious, high-quality meals with exceptional levels of service. This is truly a testament to the talent, skill, strength and tenacity of Chef Mina!
The owner and classically French-trained Executive Chef, Mina Petrovich, has always taken great pride in providing her longstanding private and corporate clientele with a wide range of cuisines that are a feast for the senses. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday celebration, corporate open house, graduation party, office luncheon or intimate family dinner, we take great pleasure in nourishing and exciting our customers and their guests with freshly prepared, gourmet meals.
We celebrated this milestone with a fabulous 20th anniversary party with the close family and friends who have supported Mina in her efforts throughout the years. And of course, the success that A Moveable Feast has garnered could not have been possible without our wonderful customers, for whom we are incredibly grateful. So much of our business has been attained through word-of-mouth and positive reviews, so we are thankful to all of you for playing an integral role in our business’ growth throughout the years.
To show our appreciation, Chef Mina lovingly prepared treat bags of her famous (and insanely addictive) Almond Roca, and gifted them to our regular customers in the last couple of weeks.
Our success has also granted us the opportunity to give back to our local community and support organizations such as the United Way, Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, Burnaby Hospital, Artists for Kids, North Shore Disability Resource Center and countless more.
This hallmark that A Moveable Feast celebrates is just one of many to come, and we look forward to continuing to provide our community with meals that feed the heart and the soul for decades more to come!
